The Advanced Hitting Instruction course is offered in-person and the successful student will earn our Level II Epstein Hitting Instructor Certification.
Prerequisites: Foundations of Hitting and Introduction to Hitting Instruction

Level I certified parent, coach or instructor desiring increased skills for advanced hitting analysis and assigning appropriate drills for advanced player improvement.
Course Description
Explore advanced hitting instruction concepts for increasing contact, generating power and developing a player’s mental approach at the plate. Learn to prescribe drills after assessing a player’s skills. Introduction to techniques for teaching baseball and fastpitch softball hitting in a group setting. Detailed use of checkpoints and measurements during slow-motion video analysis. Using and understanding swing metrics (launch angle, exit velocity and spin rates) and maximizing a player’s metrics to their size.
